Description

The Firex 5000 is an ionization 120V AC smoke detector with 9V battery back-up for single or multiple station use. False Alarm Control allows user to quiet an unwanted alarm for up to 15 minutes. Includes front loading battery door, 85 decibel horn, test switch and dual purpose LED indicator. Constant green power-on confirms AC power is present. Flashing red displays alarm/battery status. Latching LED feature identifies smoke detector that initiated an alarm in an interconnected system with a constantly illuminated red LED. The LED will remain lit until the test button is depressed on that unit. Interconnectable with up to 18 Firex AC/DC units, 6 of which may be Firex heat alarms. The Firex 5000 smoke detector, model FADC, complies with UL 217. Five year limited factory warranty.
