Description

The Firex/Kidde i5000 is an ionization 120V AC smoke detector with 9V battery back-up for single or multiple station use. The Smart Hush Control allows you to quiet an unwanted alarm for up to 8 minutes. Includes front loading battery door, 85 decibel horn, test switch and dual purpose LED indicator. Constant green power-on confirms AC power is present. Latching LED feature identifies smoke detector that initiated an alarm in an interconnected system with a flashing red LED. Interconnectable with up to 12 Firex or Kidde AC/DC smoke alarms. The Firex/Kidde i5000 series smoke detector, model i4618, item 21007582, is UL Listed and includes a ten year limited factory warranty.

Note: The Firex/Kidde i5000 is not fully interchangeable with the older Firex 5000 smoke alarm. The new Firex/Kidde i5000 mounting plate is larger in diameter with a different hole pattern, and the electrical connection is a 3-prong triangle instead of a straight row. A new wiring harness is included with the i5000.
